Pump Probe Ilumination Collection

An example of an optical pump probe experiment with a two probe system. A diagramatic illustration is shown at the top of the page with a bright field optical microscopic image shown at the bottom left of this illustration where the two probes are clearly seen. In the right image the first probe on the right is injecting the light and some scattered light is seen due to the injection of this light. The injected light is guided through the fiber and the intense spot on the left with the second probe in place is this injected light which can be collected and analyzed both spatially and temporally.
