Professor Aaron Lewis, CEO of Nanonics Imaging, Ltd., was recently featured on azonano.com as part of their "Nanotechnology Thought Leaders" series.

The feature article includes Professor Lewis' personal account of the history of Near-Field Scanning Optical Microscopy (NSOM), as developed by Professor Lewis in the mid and late-1980s. The article further outlines the extensive applications of NSOM in the fields of optics and nanophotonics, as well as plasmonics and most recently, biological imaging of soft samples, fluorescence correlation spectroscopy and chemistry.
