Magneto Optic Disc

 

  
 20x20 micron Reflection NSOM images of the same region of a magneto optic disk illuminated with different polarizations of light. Note the different distributions of light intensities at the two polarizations.

These images were produced using Reflection NSOM. Reflection NSOM is possible because of the unique archetecture of the Nanonics MultiView system which leaves the optical axis free from above the sample.
